(Image: Google Maps) PART of a busy A-road in Hereford is to close for up to six nights next month for essential resurfacing works. The A465 Belmont Road will be closed overnight between the Belmont roundabout and Goodrich Grove from Monday, January 12. The major road will close for up to six nights between 10pm and 6am. A spokesperson for Herefordshire Highways said a signed diversion will be in place during the closure. Read more: Motorists needing to get from one side of the closure to the other will need to follow the A49 from the Asda roundabout, then turn onto the A466 at Wormelow, then follow the B4348, and then rejoin the A465. Pedestrian access will remain available, and limited vehicle access may be allowed for properties with no alternative route. Transport
