Council speaks out after serious bin lorry crash

The crash has left a house on the Mill Street and Bridge Street roundabout in Leominster with significant damage. Emergency services arrived on scene earlier this morning, with both roads closed and crews remaining on scene at present. READ MORE: A Herefordshire Council spokesperson confirmed that a waste collection lorry collided with the property at around 6.45am this morning. “We are working with our partners to assess the situation,” the spokesperson said. “We are asking people to avoid the area to allow the emergency services to safely carry out their work. “Our thoughts are with those involved in the incident and their families. “We would like to thank the emergency services for their swift response. “Further updates will be issued when more facts are known.” EmergencyLeominster
