(Image: Google Maps) A GOLDEN Valley primary school will not be open to pupils tomorrow after its septic tank was damaged by floods. Michaelchurch Escley Primary School will be closed to pupils tomorrow (Monday, February 9), according to Herefordshire Council’s school closure page. Read more: The full announcement said: “School and Preschool closed due to flooding damage to septic tank. “Hoping to reopen on Tuesday 10th Feb. Remote learning will be uploaded to SeeSaw for pupils.” The closure comes after flooding hit the county this weekend, with several flood alerts remaining in place as of this evening (February 8). Alerts are in force for the River Lugg both north and south of Leominster, the River Leadon catchment, the River Arrow, and the River Wye. Alerts have been removed in the past 24 hours for the Dulas Brook and Ewyas Harold, the River Frome, and the River Monnow. EducationWeather
