(Image: Google Maps) EMERGENCY services have been called to a city centre street after reports of a person entering the river, police have confirmed. A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said emergency crews are currently in the Nelson Street area of Hereford, following reports that someone had entered the river. Officers attended the scene with the ambulance service and fire and rescue service, and located a man at 10.10am who has now been taken to hospital. Police will remain in the area to carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident.
