Famous faces join Herefordshire’s Jules Hudson on Escape to the Country

​The BBC presenter, who lives in the county’s Golden Valley, has been paired with chart-topping singer Chesney Hawkes, known for his 1991 hit, The One and Only . The series sees the show’s presenters take a group of “well-known faces” who may be wishing to swap the “hustle and bustle” of a city for some countryside air. In a recent post on the show’s official Instagram account, it was revealed that the trio, made up of Jules, Chesney, and his wife, Kristina, will appear on our screens on Tuesday, December 30 at 6.30pm. Hawkes, whose top hit was in the UK charts for five weeks, appeared on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, finishing in fifth place. He also appeared on a 2024 series of ITV’s The Masked Singer.
