The Bulls came into the game following a week to regroup after their FA Trophy defeat on penalties to Fylde. However, they were left short on numbers as both striker Remaye Campbell and defender Kyle Howkins missed the game due to illness. The Linnets are also struggling in the bottom half of the National League North table and both sides saw the game as a chance to move up the league. Both sides had opening in the first 30 minutes with Harley Hamilton firing over for Hereford before Cameron Forde-Brown tried his luck at the opposite end. The best chances of the fell to King’s Lynn as Reece Hall-Johnson fired just over before Morgan Williams shot into the side-netting, when he should have netted. Hereford finished the first half with a flurry as Andy Williams sent an effort wide, before defender Keenan Quansah saw his header tipped over by the goalkeeper. Bulls goalkeeper Theo Richardson was kept busy early in the second half, denying Ross Crane and La’Sean Sealey. At the opposite end experienced Hereford midfielder Lawson D’Ath tested the goalkeeper, before being taken off injured. Caddis’ side continued to search for an opener, with both Williams and Lewis Hudson testing the opposing goalkeeper. The Bulls were given a boost seven minutes from time when Crane was shown red for a heavy challenge on Hudson and the Linnets finished with 10 men. Deep into stoppage time Hereford almost snatched the points but goalkeeper Paul Jones was his side’s hero as he denied Harley Hamilton. “I didn’t think there was too much in it,” said Caddis following the draw, which keeps his side in the bottom four. “I thought we had some okay chances, I thought they had some okay chances. It was probably one of those games that, if anyone was going to win, it was going to be by one goal. “I think we think we were in control in terms of what we were trying to do. “We were comfortable in what we were trying to do, we were higher up the pitch. They (King’s Lynn) tried to overplay at times, we managed in nick in. “It was just that little bit in the top end, when our first touch wasn’t quite there. It wasn’t sticking, we didn’t create that fine moment. “There was a couple of balls down the side and Harley had his chance. We break really well, to be fair and the way Harley Harlow got his chance. “Overall, I’m not absolutely delighted or I’m absolutely gutted. I think a point is a fair result, especially when you come here with what we’ve got at the moment. I think we have to respect that.” Hereford: Richardson, Skinner, Quansah, Roberts, Hudson (Rooney 87), D’Ath (White 65), Mafuta, Hamilton, Martin, Donawa, Williams Subs not used: Lewis, Preston
