This week Hereford have welcomed two Bermudian midfielders to the club in the form of Justin Donawa and Keziah Martin. Meanwhile, Eno Nto has joined Omari Sterling-James and Sam Osborne who have left to club. Nto has struggled with injuries since joining the Bulls in July and has made 19 appearances, and the club have now agreed to mutually terminate his contract. Previously boss Paul Caddis said that the club were set to lose ‘six or seven’ players during January. Hereford chairman Ammonds said: “Following a length catch-up with Paul (Caddis) I know that there are a number of irons in the fire that he is looking at to try and refresh and rebuild. “He can see the areas that he feels we need to strengthen or need more variety. We’re not happy with where we are (in the league table) and we’re proactively working really hard to try and bring in the types of players that we need to add to the group that we’ve got. “It has been a really difficult market over the last couple of months. Paul (Caddis) has had the option of strengthening for some time, but in terms of his options, he hasn’t felt that he has had what he needed.” Meanwhile, winger Donawa has signed from National League side Brackley Town. Central midfielder Martin has also signed on loan from National League North opponents Buxton for the remainder of the season. Donawa, aged 29, came from the American college system before impressing on trial at Darlington. The Bermudian international has gone on to play for the likes of Solihull Moors, Altringham and Brackley Town. Donawa was part of the Brackley side who lifted the National League North title last campaign. However, he was released by the club this week to allow him to sign for Hereford. Talking to the club’s website about the signing, Bulls boss Paul Caddis said: “Justin Donawa is someone we have tried previously to sign and I’m now pleased we are both in a position to make it happen. Justin possesses great athleticism and will be an important addition into our group.” Fellow Bermudan international Martin is aged 25 and came through the Barnsley Academy. He went on to spent three years with Kidderminster Harriers before signing for Boston and Rushall Olympic and then Buxton. Martin has made 20 appearances for the Bermudian national team and Donawa 26 games. Caddis added: “Keziah Martin is a player who has huge experience at the level having been successful at National League North before. “He is a player that can play comfortably in many positions and will be a great addition for us. “Also a full internationalist so brings that experience with him into the group.” Meanwhile, Hereford’s scheduled game on Tuesday night at Scunthorpe has been re-arranged until Tuesday, March 3. The Bulls host AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy this Saturday and have no midweek game on January 13.
