Jeremy Clarkson ‘very nervous’ after ‘putting heart and soul in’

The TV presenter is known for his work on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, and lives in Oxfordshire. It is there in the Cotswolds where he runs his Chadlington-based Diddly Squat Farm and Astahll-located pub, The Farmer’s Dog. Mr Clarkson is set to return to screens next week with his brand new show, Millionaire Hot Seat, which is a spin-off from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Speaking ahead of the new ITV show, the 65-year-old was asked whether he felt nervous before he started filming. In response, the TV star said: “Very. Of course, I put my heart and soul into it all, but I was still nervous.” The TV presenter was then asked why he still works, to which he replied: “You would rot if you didn’t. “I’m genuinely frightened because until March, I won’t be filming a TV show for the first time in forty years. That will be three months of sh*t.” When asked about his recent weight loss, Mr Clarkson said: “I still really look forward to going out to eat, but I am very careful not to snack on biscuits or anything like that too, as that fills you up. “I’m looking forward to going out tonight and having a curry.” “[I’ve lost] three stone since January, and I walk further, I have got more energy, and now I’ve got my stents in, I’m energised.” Millionaire Hot Seat will begin on ITV next week at 7.30pm on Tuesday, January 6, with 18 episodes in total, each timed at 30 minutes.
