Born in London, the model rose to international fame in the 1990s with collaborations with Calvin Klein, playing a key role in size-zero fashion. She has received several accolades for her modelling over the years, and in 2007, she was named among the world’s 100 most influential people by Time. Ms Moss has lived at her Cotswolds home in Little Faringdon for over two decades, having bought the property back in 2004 for £2.5m. Kate Moss moved to the area in 2004. (Image: Ian West/PA) Now, the Daily Mail reports that the 51-year-old was “instrumental” in organising the village’s Nativity play this Christmas. Harriet Kean writes: “Mossy’s involvement, I’m told, was down to a parish councillor, with whom she has struck up a friendship. “The pair have become close and regularly share a cup of tea together. “Over the years, Kate has been involved in several church matters, including managing the rota, greeting visitors, managing the collection, and helping with services. “She is regularly seen in her local village by neighbours and is a devoted fan of the nearby Budgens supermarket, says my source.” This comes after Ms Moss objected to plans for a garden room to be included in a home extension in Little Faringdon over fears it would overwhelm the sewage system. In the objection on Ms Moss’s behalf, representatives said: “I have no comment regarding the proposed house extension. However, there is an objection to the proposed garden room.” “The proposed building has a bathroom. The means of foul drainage is unclear.” The 51-year-old’s objection added that the development would be “harmful to the rural character” of the village, which has around 30 homes. Following the complaints, the homeowner removed the garden room from her application to extend her house.
