Kyle, who was just 29, was brought to Hereford Crematorium in the blue glittery coffin he wanted, flanked by members of Danter’s Fun Fair. As the Hereford Times reported at the time, Kyle had ‘run’ away to the circus when he was just a teenager and lived and loved a life performing. Danter’s brought their biggest lorries and lined the road as Kyle’s many friends wore multicoloured ribbons from the family. The Council and Membership of the Circus Friends Association of GB, had already sent their condolences to Kyle Monroe’s family. They praised him as a versatile circus performer and singed out some of his best roles including as Clown Jerry, in Peter Jolly’s Circus, Pinder’s Circus, Charles Chipperfield Circus and Circus Fantasia, Kyle, who came from Ledbury, had also performed as ringmaster for Planet Circus. There were hundreds of friends and family at the ceremony, with them being ushered into and out of the building, to music from the score of The Greatest Showman.
