‘Old and broken: Jeremy Clarkson makes new farm purchase

​The presenter has owned Diddly Squat Farm, previously known as Curdle Hill Farm, since 2008, with the spot located in Chadlington near Chipping Norton. It has been the focus of the Prime Video documentary Clarkson’s Farm, with four series to date and a fifth on the way. Fast forward to now, and Mr Clarkson has been facing another difficult decision at his farm in the Cotswolds. Clarkson’s Farm series four was released on Prime Video earlier this year. (Image: Prime Video) The 65-year-old has been finding it difficult to get in and out of his Supacat, a six-wheel drive military machine which he uses to venture into the woodland to collect timber. Writing in his latest Sunday Times article, he mentions how the vehicles were used to “recover broken Land Rovers from the battlefield”. Jeremy Clarkson: A look back at his life and career Mr Clarkson added: “But it is quite difficult to get in and out of, if you are old and broken.” Because of this, he intends to replace the £9,000 Supercat, which he is fond of, with several alternatives suggested. Mr Clarkson has chosen the petrol-powered CFMoto UForce U10 Pro, which offers more comfort than his Supacat. He added: “It has been on the farm for a couple of months now and I must say it’s very practical, very robust and extremely useful.” The 65-year-old isn’t the only one who is a fan of the new vehicle, as his dogs have also taken to its arrival favourably. “On day one, my dogs leapt into the pick-up bed and since then have pretty much refused to get out,” he said.
