‘Picture-perfect rural escape’ named UK’s top holiday home

Bodcott – shepherd’s hut set in the Herefordshire countryside – has been named as one of the most sought-after holiday homes in the UK. Holiday Cottages rated the holiday home near Pembridge as second on its sought-after list, with No. 1 in Brude, Cornwall, taking the top spot. It also comes with a detached sauna and a fire pit for cooking and toasting marshmallows. Sarah Pring, digital PR manager of Holiday Cottages, said: “This year’s list showcases the incredible diversity found across the UK’s staycation market, proving there’s something to inspire every type of holidaymaker. “Whether it’s a dreamy view, exceptional comfort, or unique design, each home on this list has a special quality that keeps guests coming back for more. “Holidaymakers reading reviews more than ever, seeking reassurance that they’re making the right choice depending on their party size and budget.”
