Police search after cyclist airlifted to hospital in A49 crash

(Image: NQ) A POLICE search for witnesses and dashcam footage has been launched after a crash which saw a cyclist be airlifted to hospital. A man in his 30s was left with serious injuries after the crash on the A49 near Wellington on Monday, November 10. The crash happened at around 2.10pm, when a VW Golf and a bicycle “collided”. A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service previously confirmed that the man had been conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment. West Mercia Police are appealing to members of the public who either saw, or who have dashcam footage of the crash, or the vehicles in the minutes before.
