​With a range of Indian restaurants in the city, it’s no surprise that many have proved popular with Tripadvisor reviewers. We’ve compiled a list of some of the highest-rated restaurants in Hereford, according to the review site. Amazing Asia Buffet The Old Market Indian and Thai buffet has gone down a hit with Tripadvisor reviewers, achieving a 4.8-star rating overall, based on over 1,100 reviews. Speaking of their recent experience, one reviewer said: “We had a fantastic time on Sunday staff were amazing food was incredible, they sang happy birthday and brought some cake for a lady we support with learning difficulties, would definitely come again thank you.” Jalsagor Restaurant The St Owen Street restaurant has amassed a 4.3-star rating, based on just over 500 reviews. One Tripadvisor reviewer wrote: “The service was top-notch, very charming and friendly service. “We asked to not wait too long as our elderly grandpa was with us and they were most accommodating. We’ll be back! The food was delicious too.” Leaving a five-star review, another reviewer said: “Lovely food freshly cooked. Staff pleasant and attentive. Marygold Indian The Union Street restaurant has received a 4.3-star rating on Tripadvisor, based on over 300 customer reviews. Labelling it the “best Indian in town”, one reviewer wrote: “The customer service is always warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes every visit a pleasure. “Collection times are super quick and reliable, so you’re never left waiting around.” Another reviewer wrote: “The Mary Gold Indian restaurant is the place to go to for top customer service and quality affordable food The place is nicely decorated and the staff are so friendly and respectful opening doors as you enter to opening the door for you when you leave.”
