Search after man hit over the head with hammer and dumbbell

​Senior ReporterPolice would like to speak to Levi Doherty (Image: West Mercia Police) Detectives investigating an assault in Hereford have released an image of a man they would like to trace. At around 5pm on Friday 5 December a man was hit over the head by a hammer and dumbbell and then stamped on when he was on the floor. He was taken to the Hereford County Hospital with injuries to his head and leg. Two men have been charged with GBH in relation to the incident and are set to appear at Worcester Crown Court on 6 January. Detective Inspector Ben Pearson said: “We would like to speak to 31-year-old Levi Doherty as we believe he can help with our investigation into an assault in Hereford.
