The winners, chosen from subscribers to Herefordshire Council’s new garden waste service, will receive a full refund of their £60 annual subscription for the 2026–2027 service year. The draw is part of the council’s efforts to thank residents for supporting an environmentally friendly scheme. Elissa Swinglehurst, Herefordshire Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for environment, said: “Congratulations to our prize-draw winners and thank you to everyone who has signed up to the new garden-waste service. “With collections starting soon, now is a great time for residents to get ready for the growing season. “The service offers an easy, reliable and great-value way to recycle garden waste responsibly, while delivering real environmental benefits for the county.” The new service is being rolled out countywide, with fortnightly collections set to begin at the end of March.
