Two former homes and one current house of a star-studded trio are now available to buy in the county at eye-watering prices. Actor Michael Caine has starred in Battle of Britain, The Italian Job, The Eagle Has Landed, and The Muppets Christmas Carol over the years. The 92-year-old also famously played Bruce Wayne’s trusty butler Alfred Pennyworth in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Michael Caine. Mr Caine previously owned Rectory Farm House in Church Lane, North Stoke near Wallingford, where he lived with his family from 1984 to 1999. It was sold by the movie star back in 2020 when it had been listed on the market for £6.95m. This classic 17th-century English country home was listed again on the public market last year with Savills, but the listing has now disappeared. With fans wondering whether the Oxfordshire bolthole had sold again or not, the estate agents have now clarified the situation. Sir Michael Caine’s former mansion in Oxfordshire.
