Crews from Peterchurch and Ewyas Harold Fire Stations were called to the property on Dulas Avenue last night (Monday, December 29) at 5.54pm. Two fire engines could be seen on the residential street as of 7.30pm that evening. A spokesperson for Peterchurch Fire Station confirmed that crews extinguished the wood-burning fire using chimney gear. Crews extinguished the wood-burner fire. (Image: Peterchurch Fire Station) Crews also made access to the loft space to check for fire spread. The spokesperson added: “This is shout number 124 and one of our busiest years at Peterchurch for many years.” Emergency
