(Image: Michael Eden) PREPARATIONS for a city beer festival that has been missing from the river banks for nearly two years are now “well underway”, with the hunt for recruits now on. In the spring of 2025, the Herefordshire Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) announced that the popular Beer on the Wye festival would return in 2026 after being paused for the summer of 2025. Now, a spokesperson for the pub campaigning group has said that they are looking to enlist the help of volunteers for the well-attended event, which will take place between July 10 and 12. The spokesperson added that they have always been able to form “such a great” team of volunteers and have consistently received positive feedback from the public.
