Woman taken to hospital after car overturns on A465

​ReporterA woman has been taken to hospital (Image: Supplied) A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a single-car collision in Herefordshire. Emergency services responded to an incident on a popular A-road where they discovered a car lying on its roof. The car was found overturned on the A465 between Pontrilas and Llangua this afternoon (March 5). The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital. Her injuries were not believed to be serious. The crash caused significant delays on the popular community road throughout the evening before clearing around 5.30pm. The police made no arrests and left the scene once the ambulance service arrived. A spokesperson for West Mercia Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a single vehicle RTC on the A465 at 3.32pm, one ambulance attended the scene. “On arrival we discovered a car that had overturned and one patient, a woman. “She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Hereford County Hospital.” Police also confirmed their involvement. A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We were called to the A465 near Howton Farm in Hereford at around 3.30pm today (Thursday March 5) to reports of a single vehicle collision, where a car was on its roof. “No arrests were made and the driver was left in the care of the ambulance service.” Car crashEmergencyHereford
